Vocational education is the cornerstone of economic boom and the ladder of the nations jump. The experience of minority regions development shows that vocational education is a very important channel to human capital investment and an effective approach to achieve economic growth. On the backgroud of the Western Development minority regions of Hubei is facing unprecedented Challenges and requirements, for the regions can not advance without a lot of skilled talents. However, compare to coastland and inland, development of minority regions in Hubei is still very backward, due to government institutions, vocational education its problems and other reasons.Thus study on vocational education in minority regions of Hubei has positive and practical significance, it not only help to promote the development of local vocational education, but also to push the common development of minority regions.The community of scholars on the issue of vocational education have also been many discussions, maily focused on the following areas:study on current situation, prombles, influence factor, development path and model of vocational education and the relationship between vocational education and economic. But there are still some shortcomings in the study:about the research content, most subjects of concern is the usual meaning of vocational education research, not enough attention to vocational education in minority regions. About the research perspective, it is still very weak to study vocational education in minority regions combinating local industry development on integration of theory with practice level. In my opinion, vocational education is very close to industry, so studying vocational education in minority regions of Hubei must be combined with the development of local industries, to discuss how the development of vocational education promote national socio-economic reform and industrial development systematically.In this paper, the writer has begun the study with the perspective that vocational education should meet industry demand, integrated the theory of pedagogy, economics, management and so on, used the literature, research and other research methods, focused on the investigation and analyzed the current situation and problems during the development of vocational education in minority region of Hubei. On this basis, the writer tries to explore a new path which is suitable to the development of vocational education in minority region of Hubeiand build an initial theory about relations between vocational education and industrial development, so as to supply some feasible countermeasures to help the development of minority region in Hubei on the base of vocational education.The main contents are as follows:First of all, the author has laid a theoretical foundation for the development of vocational education in minority regions in Hubei by studying the basic theory of the content of minority regional vocational education and the relationship between vocational education and industry development. Second, on the base of the investigation, showing current situation of vocational education in minority regions in Hubei, the writer affirms the achievements, then pointed out the existing problems in the development process, which includs the vision of minority regional vocational education, current scale of education, school orientation, professional development and faculty development. Again, beginning by three subjects-the government, vocational schools and enterprises, the writer deeply analyzes the causes of lag during the development of minority regions in Hubei. Finally, according to the analysis above, put forward some countermeasures to promote the vocational education in minority regions in Hubei. Those include government should actively create a good environment for the development of vocational education; vocational school should pursue their own development; employers actively involved in vocational education. In the end of this paper, the writer point out:only based on reality and vocation education truly met local industry can the vocational education in minority regions in Hubei continue to enlarge and strengthen.
