Trigonometric function is a very important part of secondary school mathematics study basis. The main purpose of this study is to explore the wrong type of Trigonometric function of vocational students in terms of concept and counting, and also the reason of error.This research bases on literature research, survey research, interviews and other methods. Conclude the results through the trigonometric function test on 171 students from four classes. The participants are picked up to take non-standardized interview. There are five wrong type of Trigonometric function as following:(1) the wrong concept of angle; (2) determination of positive and negative error of trigonometric functions (3) wrongly believe the cosine function is an odd function; (4) the basic formula of triangular operation error; (5) lack of prior knowledgeAnalysis of error from the student's cognitive structure: many types of student errors are strategic errors and knowledge-based errors as following: (1) lack of the basic concepts or formulas forgotten; (2) using inappropriate solving method; (3) no basis for reasoning; (4) ignore conditions; (5) lack of prior knowledge.Finally, according to the characteristics of vocational students, some suggestions are proposed for teaching, evaluation and content compile.
