With the gradual penetration of Market Economy System and alternation of governmental functions since 1990, a magnificent progress of the higher education, which followed the 4Cs principle of"co-construction, coordination, corporation and combination"and placed a great premium on coordination and combination, has been conducted. The number of colleges has dropped radically from 732 to 289 through combination or coordination, with 443 net cutbacks, most of which are multi-campus universities.Debate has been drawn towards this colleges'combination as the attention grew. Especially when around 2000, a package of giant multi-campuses was established closely following after, which caused earthquake-like shock amongst colleges. How ever, the combination of colleges has brought benifits as well as problems that never existed before. Lately, dissertations concerning the combination and management has been published by the university theoretical circles and people undertaking the college administration, which were precious textual material steering the development and coordination of this combination and constructing a better atmosphere of public opinion to facilitate the transformation of university management system. From a general perspective, further investigation on the combination of colleges is in scarcity of depth, width and systemic analysis, which is more obvious in the multi-campus types.Investigation on student management has no longer been so fresh. However, most people's understanding of student management has been largely restricted to the ideological and politic work or extracurricular activities, leaving aside the significance of good student management, which can benefit the administration of university. Theoretical circles of higher education and people undertaking university management in the past few years is in the absence of systematic research on personnel integration. Therefore, we will regain a clearer and more accurate orientation for student management via the re-interpretation of it. As this article aims to offer valuable suggestions to the personnel integration of multi-campus universities, we base on the case of Guangdong polytechnic normal university and the knowledge of human resources integration, and meanwhile, we compare different ideas and documentary record which helps us to draw a better conclusion of it.
