The Research On The Function Of The Universty Student Societies In The University Student Socialism Core Value System Education

"Some Important Issues of the Communist Party of China on Building Socialistic Harmonious Society" passed by the Sixth Plenary Session of the Party's Sixteenth Central Committee proposed the "the construction of the socialist core value system" for the first time. The 17th party congress report made an exposition on the construction of this core value system and proposed that efforts should be made to the integration of this core value system into the national education and spiritual civilization. College students are the future of our country, the hope of our nation and the constructors and successors of the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Strengthen the education of the socialist core value system satisfies not only the need of the construction of the socialist core value system but also the healthy growth of the college students. At present, with the further reform of the education system, student societies have become an organic part of the campus culture and the extension of the classes. With their own characteristics and their relation with the ideological and political education, the student societies have become an important carrier of the education of the socialist core value system. Therefore, the research on the function of the college student societies bears great theoretical and practical significance.This article has a comparatively deeper discussion on the function of the campus communities in the education of the socialist core value system by reading the documents, interviewing the experts and doing investigation. Firstly, this article simply introduces the theoretical basis of the function of the student society in the socialist core value system education, including the direct theoretical basis, the ideological and political theory and the theory of the moral life experience, pointing out the possibility of the student society to carry out the socialist core value system education. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct the socialist core value system education. Then, this article probes into the inherent law of the function of the college student society in the socialist core value system education; points out that the conduction of the socialist core value system education in the college student society needs "four directions" (public opinion, the system and policy, behavior of the student leaders and culture inheritance) and "three internalization mechanism" (transformation from theory to mentality, transformation from evaluation to behavior, and transformation from the rules to demonstration); makes an analysis of the function of the college community in the social core value system education from five aspects:community activities, community management system, community culture, interpersonal communication in the community, and the management of the communities, and of the concrete forms of the different types of communities. Finally, this article proposes some pieces of advice on the promotion of the role of the college student society in the socialist core value system education.This article is based on the exploration of the role of the college student in the socialist core value system education, probes into the practical function of the college community in the education of the college students of the socialist core value system. In the future work, more emphasis should be attached to the importance of the role of the college student society in the social core value system education of the college students and improve its timeliness and effectiveness. The conclusion of this article could be a helpful reference for the educational workers.
