Scientific inquiry is defined as one of science education content standards of Primary schools in the new round of curriculum reform, Moreover, standard also stressed that science teaching must be in the form of science inquiry. Through investigation indicate, at the present situation science inquiry teaching is not satisfactory, a number of factors led to the teaching of scientific explore smoothly and to carry out effectively, for example, teaching materials, the teaching environment and the support of external forces etc. However, the most critical factor is the teachers, teachers as carrier for science courses in the implementation and leading force of science courses implementation, undertaking multiple roles, Whether they fully understand the meaning of scientific inquiry and the inquiry idea that affect how the classroom inquiry teaching behavior.Based on the related literature, this paper from elementary school science teacher angle put forward two types of beliefs of science inquiry, and divided into four successive layers, Chongqing and Nanchong of elementary school science teacher as the object, through questionnaire surveys and interviews about the level of science inquiry. According to the results of studies and problems found, this research proposed some suggestions to improve the level of scientific inquiry:Rich theoretical knowledge of scientific inquiry of science teachers; Reform curriculum Settings and develop science inquiry concept; Strengthen science teachers construction, realize science teacher's specialization; Conduct training practice, update their inquiry ideas; Strengthen communication and learning among teachers and teachers and researchers and the experts.Through the survey and survey about the situation of level of science inquiry of elementary school science teachers, this paper describe the level of scientific inquiry of elementary school science teacher and summarized and evaluated about this.
