Web-based curriculum has unique advantages that anybody can study any content beginning with any chapter at anywhere in any time, which can make up for the physiopsychic limitation of older adults. Current objects of web-based curriculum may always be limited to the normal population with certain computer operational capability, ignoring the disabled people with poor computer capability. It is near impossible to solute the accessibility problem of web-based curriculum, while we worked hard to maximize education equality in the sight of the user interface design. With the beautiful wish, we hope the research can serve the larger population ignored by most researchers and practitioners well.On the basis of research and application about web-based curriculum at home and abroad, the thesis explores the ideas, principles, related technical criteria and processes of accessibility design about web-based curriculum of old age in Community. The thesis of main emphasis is on the technical specification of interface accessibility design about web-based curriculum, with the research works of 10 categories totaled 54 standards. In order to imbue the thesis with more precise guide meaning, the research selected 30 web-based curriculums on the community education websites in shanghai. And then, the research appraised the accessible situation of these web-based curriculums with the automatic tool. According to the standards of interface accessibility made by the research, the thesis tested these curriculums manually based on the results of automatic testing. After analyzing the testing results, the thesis summed up some defects that current community web-based curriculum had. At last, the thesis put forward several countermeasures of web-based curriculum construction in community.
