Application Of Data Mining In English Online Learning Platform

English in our life is more and more important, and English learning is also in anytime and anywhere, particularly now that high-tech products such as mobile phone, iPad are very convenient to go to school. There are many English online learning platforms, and they provide very single learning contents, regardless of their learning what is the purpose of learning. Especially for adult learners, they learn objective more explicit, work needs or to academic research and so on, single learning content for them, but they absolutely no specific study time relatively the learning effect, so that you can imagine.This article will research data mining technology applied to English online learning platform and through the clustering algorithm, and associated association rules, the study contents of learners are analyzed, based on using genetic algorithm developed a content organization system, used in this case, for learners to provide individualized learning content, in order to the system the future can be extended to other online learning platform. First of all, based on the literatures were reviewed, analyzed the present situation of English online learning platform, this paper points out the existing problems, the problem is the study wants to be solved through the data mining. Secondly, according to the English online learning platform and found the problem, the author selects three kinds of data mining technology to solve the problems found, how should be designed these techniques used in online learning platform, the first technique is clustering mining technology, used for analyzing the situation, will learners in different categories portion, and providing them personal learning contents, and organize group learning; The second kind of technology is used to parse the association rule, the connections between learning contents, through these rules to arrange learners' learning contents, provide English learning achievement; The third kind of technology is genetic algorithm, the first two technology foundation, based on the algorithm is designed a system, the content of the system can provide personalized for learners of English learning content. Finally, this paper selects a case, the above design is applied in this case, and the results are analyzed in detail.This paper puts forward according to the present condition analysis--solution design--case analysis--conclusions flow, studied the data mining technology applied to English online learning platform, innovative development English learning content organization system, hope this research achievement has certain practical value for the promotion of the construction of online learning platform provides a mentality, also hope this idea to a certain extent, to improve from the quality of online learning.
