The Study On Present Situation Of Ideological And Political Education Of Minority College Students And It's Countermeasures

Comrade Hu Jintao pointed out that to a great extent whether a society is harmonious or a nation can realize long term peace and stability subject to all members'ideological morality quality. The harmonious society cannot be realized without common ideal faith or good morality rules.Xinjiang, lying in the west of our motherland and with the complicated international environment, is the major target for the"three forces"to permeate. Viewing the international situation, it can be seen that the Western hostile forces have not given up or weakened their"westernization"and"differentiation"to our nation, and they take the influence and permeation to the university education as their main task, robbing the next generation from us by any possible means, especially the minority university students as their target, which causes the ideological and political education of university students facing serious challenge. The minority youth university students are not only the main force for the modernization of this ethnic area but also the successor of the socialism cause with Chinese characteristics, so strengthening and improving the ideological and political education of the minority university students is a matter of great concern from both the party and the nation. Under the new situation, the quality of ideological and political education of minority university students will not only affect the peaceful life and enjoyable work of Xinjiang people but also the long term peace and stability of Xinjiang community. Therefore, the ideological and political education of the university is the political foundation to safeguard the national unity and ethnic solidarity, and paying great importance to the stated education is not only the good tradition of the minority area universities but also the urgent need of the present situation.This thesis will take the ideological and political education of Urumqi minority universities as specific case, inquiring deeply and exploring positively the rules of present ideological and political education and strengthening the study of countermeasures for the ideological and political education. This thesis is composed of five parts. The first part will mainly elaborate the research purpose and meaning of the Xinjiang minority university students'ideological and political education and introduce the related present study situation. The second part will introduce the specialty and necessity of Xinjiang minority university students'ideological and political education, which lays foundation for the proposing of the pointed measures. The third part will master the present situation of Xinjiang minority university students'ideological and political education through surveys, which provides the basis for analysis. The fourth part will discover the existing problems from the surveys and analyze their causes. The last part will explore deeply the effective approaches to the Xinjiang minority university students'ideological and political education and propose concrete solutions in order to improve further the effect of the Xinjiang minority university students'ideological and political education.
