The Study On Teenager Athletes' Personality Traits,coping Style Of Acute Stress And Coping About Competition Failure

The thesis made a research on the relationship between personality traits and coping style of the Baoding and Shandong table tennis schools who presented as the research object.Through the study, I wish to provide guidance and intervention for teenager athletes'coping style of acute stress and coping about competition failure on the basis of understanding teenager athletes'personality traits,thus to train competitive ability and develop competitive level. The results manifest that:First,personality traits of the table tennis athletes is extroverted,mood-unstable and realistic.The coping style of acute stress situation of sampling survey is: table tennis athletes most often use active response and Seeking support,turning to religion and escape secondly. The sequene of coping about competition failure is seeking emotional support and venting of emotions,fantasy and avoiding,bearing and helplessness reaction,active coping focused on the problems.Second,on gender, there is no difference among personality traits ,coping style of acute stress and coping about competition failure.On playing style,there is a significant difference on seeking emotional support and venting of emotions.There is a significant difference on bearing and helplessness reaction between high and low levels. Third,there are seven relationships among personality traits, coping style of acute stress and coping about competition failure of table tennis athletes group of teenagers.With the regression analysis, seeking support has a significant regression effect on Bearing and helplessness reaction,the same effect of both positive understanding and active response on seeking emotional support and venting of emotions,the same effect of Turning to religion and psychoticism on active coping focused on the problems,the same effect of seeking support,turning to religion,psychoticism,positive understanding and neuroticism on fantasy and avoiding.
