The teaching quality is the foundation for universities and colleges to survival and develop. Teaching Quality Assessment has important significance and plays roles in leading teachers to carry on the teaching content and teaching methods reforms and improve their teaching quality.In this paper , two kinds of teaching quality evaluation models is studied. One is the teaching quality evaluation model based on analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation,and another is the teaching quality evaluation modle based on partial least squares regression.Firstly, the background, significance, status and the development trend of the teaching quality evaluation is analyzed and summaried in this paper.Based on the theory about traditional analytic hierarchy process, a new method to improve judgment matrix is given ,in which the judgment matrix is divided into a logical consistent matrix and a deviation matrix and the deviation matrix is regulated in the whole to improve the consistency of the judgment matrix and keep as more messiges in the judgment matrix as possible.At the same time, the fact that the consistency test in improved analytic hierarchy process is not required is explained from calculating aspects. The differences between traditional analytic hierarchy process and improved analytic hierarchy process are discussed. Secondly, the characteristic and applicable scope of operators in fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and the method of classifying the fuzzy rank vector are summarized.The application research is mainly about the model based on analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and the modle based on partial least squares regression. In the model based on analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, difference operators and two kinds of analytic hierarchy process models is applied. The model is applied in the teaching quality evaluation of the computer science college in Xi'an university of science and technology, and the result is analyzed. In the model based on PLS,the model is established according to two group data and compared to originally data and the rusults by the model based on analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the results is effective.
