The institutions of higher vocational education spring up with the deep reform in the educational system, the system of enrolling students and job employment system in our country. Based on the status quo of the higher vocational education students' morals, the paper has a theoretical and objective cause analysis and presents some corresponding countermeasures.1. The connotation and significance of the higher vocational education students' ideological and moral education. Ideological and moral education has a deep historical base. The thinkers and educators at home and abroad have proposed many good ideological and moral education theories, which has a principal significance in enriching the higher vocational education students' ideological and moral education theories and instructing ideological and moral education work, such as (1) to carry out ideological and moral education is the necessity to realize the development objective of higher vocational education; (2) to carry out ideological and moral education is the necessity to help students set up spiritual moral ideals, scientific beliefs, right outlook on life and good moral character; (3) to carry out ideological and moral education is the necessity to carry out quality education in an all-round way at the institutions of higher vocational education.2. The survey of the status quo of the higher vocational education students' ideological morals and the cause analysis of students' ideological and moral problems. This paper mainly deals with the higher vocational students' ideological and political conditions, social moral consciousness, outlook on job employment, outlook on life and axiological outlook and the occurring ideological and moral problems. In combination with the survey results, the paper has a cause analysis of the higher vocational education students' ideological moral problems on such aspects as social economic, political and cultural environment, students' individualself-factors, teachers' professional moral problems, lack of innovation research and development in the theoretical methods and practice of ideological and moral education.3. Educational Countermeasures on the higher vocational education students' ideological morals. Based on the principle "Focus on construction to reach practical effects", the paper studies and explores the new methods and new ways to carry out the higher vocational education students' ideological and moral education. Four ways are suggested to have a good construction of the higher vocational education students' ideological moral education: (1) to construct the administration system of higher vocational education students' ideological moral education staff; (2) to renew ideological moral education ideas of educators engaged in the institutions of higher vocational education so as to practise the important ideas of "To govern the country by the rule of virtues"; (3) to strengthen educational and teaching construction of "Marxist Theory Course and Ideological and Political Education Course" and bring ideological and moral education into a role of main medium; (4) to construct the campus network educating environment to form a solid "spiritual defense line".
