Green Chemistry Education In Secondary School

Green Chemistry is a kind of chemistry to prevent pollution in the beginning. It will bring more hope for ensuring sustainability. More and more countries around the world tend to pay more attention to the science* s development. Green Chemistry and industry revolution brought about by it are mushrooming in the world.China now needs urgently Green Talent from generation to generation who have green awareness, green knowledge and technology in order to reiize green chemical target. Green Talent depend on Green Education. Secondary school education is the most important in one' s study life. So it is very essential to implement Green Chemical Education in middle school. It can not only cultivate students' academic intelligence but also height their green consciousness and responsibility to protect environment.This article point out that green chemical ideas should be merged into chemical teaching both in the classroom and outside in order to implement green chemical education in middle school. Vivid and practical illustrations should fill chemical teaching , in the meantime, green chemical knowledge should be permeated in it on the principle of "proper time, proper degree, proper amount" . It is hoped that the goals of green chemical education are achieved eventually.In the paper, materials about green chemical education in the present textbooks are digged out and green informations are fully taken into account when raw materials, catalysts, solvents, products, reactive process and so on o/ife ducussed. Green chemical knowledge and consciousness are permeated in teaching with "Information Drive" mode. Moreover, many other important methods may be applied to green chemical education, such as writing scientific paper about Green Chemistry, investigating environment, designing green chiemical experiments and so on.At the end of the paper, some effective measures are proposed in term of Green Chemical Education.
