New Ideal Of Curriculum Construction Of Higher Vocational Education: Surpassing In Adaptation

As an important guidance to curriculum construction, the ideal of curriculum construction effects not only on the orientation and object of curriculum construction, but also on the quality and condition of the curriculum. So proper ideal of curriculum construction is very significant to curriculum construction. In this thesis, in the light of considering the problems in the practice and theory of curriculum constructionand the demands of new situation , a new ideal-surpassingin adaptation-is put forward. The ideal has its theoreticbasis and practical value.Ideal bases on acknowledging and studying the reality. Curriculum of higher vocational education is the means and carrier to realize the goal of higher vocational education and the students' development, therefore, the precondition and foundation of establishing ideal of curriculum construction is to analyze the goal of higher vocational education, the nature and the needs of students, the notion and character of curriculum of higher vocational education, which the thesis begins with.After analyzing the precondition and foundation, the thesis points that the present ideal needs renovating, becausethe situation and the academic background have changed; meanwhile, there exist some deviations in the present ideal itself. The new ideal is surpassing in adaptation whose main viewpoint is that curriculum of higher vocational education should meet the needs of cultivating high-level technicians who can fit to the new situations and surpass instrumental value, seek for noumenonal value that the curriculum aims to help the students fully develop, that is to say, it should play the part of main force in developing internal spirit as well as external technical ability.Lastly, the thesis points the trends about curriculum of higher vocational education under the guiding of the new ideal, which is curriculum of higher vocational education needs to surpass the current situation in three aspects: from technical knowledge to practical knowledge in the content; from work skill to practical wisdom in the object; from occupational ability to internal spirit in the value. Here, surpassing is based on rather than negate the surpassed only.
