Needs is a kind of physiological or psychological shortage or unbalanced state in the interior of the organism. The needs is a important personality which is very significant to the people and the needs is the motivation of various activities and the resources of the personality tendentiousness. the needs is the precondition of the motivation if we think that motivating the teachers is a process. Many psychologists have studied the problems before. But the researches on the needs of the teachers in the Middle School are mingled with the other researches and scattered. The researches on the needs of the teachers in the Middle School are less.And with the social changes the deepgoing reform of the education. The needs of the teachers who are main force of education reform have changed a lot.The research mainly employs the questionnaire method the Questionnaire is revised according to the Needs Questionnaire of Stephen P. Robbins who is the managerial expert and it includes 10 questions, 5 items for each questions according to the Maslow' s Hierachy of needs theory, the samplings come from the 354 teachers in 9 middle schools in Zibo City, Shandong province by means of the random sampling and the collecting datum has been finished one time .According to the analysis of the datum, the researches find following results:1. the higher-order needs of the teachers are stronger among the needs of the teachers.2. the needs of the teachers are different distinctly because of the different sex, age and academic degree, and the need of the self-actualization is most different among the reeds of the teachers.3. the teachers' attitude to the investigation is positive.According to the present needs of the teachers and the principles of selecting the strategies, the paper has pat forward some motivation strategies in accordance with the teachers in the Middle School based on the good research results on the motivation theories. First of all, according to the managerical strategies from the systematic theories, we should motivate the teachers in accordance with the dominant needs of the teachers in the needs system. And we should carry out two-factor motivation based on the differences between the motivational and maintenance factors in the needs system, and also, we should coordinate the relationship between the rational and irrational needs and the relationship between satisfiable and unsatisfiable needs, at the same time, we should strictly comply with an equitable principle and keep needs system of the teachers balance, secondly, according to the managerial strategies from tact theories, we should adopt different motivation method according to the different needs of the different teachers, and combine the exterior satisfaction and interior satisfaction, the direct satisfaction and the indirect satisfaction, the satisfying the needs and causing the needs. At last, we should promote the development of the teachers in order to satisfy the teachers' needs of development under the premise that unifying the development of the school and the development of the teachers.
