Studies On The Culture Origin Relations Of Team Spirit And The Methods Of Cultivating Team Spirit Of College Students

In order to help people to comprehend and practise team spirit, some problems of team spirit are studied.(1) In order to answer "What is team spirit", the connotation and effect have been studied. Some conclusion as followed: The substance of the team spirit is the shared value view of organization and it's members, the core is solidarity, cooperation and complementarities of team members' advantages, while its state is a spirit of dedication. The team spirit can stimulate creativity of individuals and enhance working performance and innovation power of an organization.(2) In order to answer "what is the difference between the east team spirit and the west team spirit", and "what is the team spirit we should cultivate", the culture origin relations of the team spirit and the effect of the culture of the east and the west in cultivating team spirit have been discussed. Some conclusion as followed: The main difference between east team spirit and west team spirit is that the east team spirit makes the group-orient culture foundation, dominated by the collectivism, but the west team spirit makes the individual-orient culture foundation, dominated by the individualism. Cultivating the team spirit with Chinese characteristics should adhere the foundation status of group-orient culture, absorb the reasonable elements of the individual-orient culture, and cultivate collectivism-based team spirit.(3) In order to answer "how to cultivate", the principles and the methods of cultivating team spirit of college students are studied. Some conclusion as followed: the principles have: people-orient and systematic. The methods include theory-inculcating, education by practice, and education by demonstration, frustration training, and decision-making by team spirit, communicating skill training.
