| Quality education should be focused on promoting the quality of the whole nation.The core of quality education lies in developing students' creative spirit and practical capacity and in focusing on students' personal growth. English quality education consists of five parts: basic English knowledge and basic skills, learning ability, the accomplishment in science and culture as well as the outlook on morality, the quality of thinking, the emotions involving in English learning. Of the five parts English competence, which is based on basic English knowledge, basic skills and learning ability is the key point. These five factors correlate with each other, interact with each other, blend with each other and then become integrated. This thesis illustrates the implementation of English quality education in classroom practice from the aspects of both theory and practice. It deals with the focus and essentials on the implementation of English quality education in classroom practice. The thesis states the present problems in high school classroom practice, which is said to have wasted too much time and energy without gaining an expected good result, and necessity to carry out English quality education in classroom practice. It also gives a detailed explanation to the English competence to be acquired by the students. In view of the problems in existence, the thesis provides some good solutions to the problems from a new angle, through the experimental program, through the emphasis on the essentials related to the appropriate concept, the appropriate approach and the appropriate text books and through the focus on students personal growth, on comprehensible input, on critical literacy, on effective teaching and on effective learning. It has obtained noticeable outcomes from classroom practice and has proved its feasibility. |
