Curriculum reform is the core of the educational reform. As the further development of education reform, an unparalleled and great change has taken place in the curriculum policy of our country: carry out state, locality and school three levelsCurriculum management, the school-based curriculum development is put forward to agenda. This is a historic progress in the history of curriculum reform in our country. Whether this curriculum policy can be effectively carried out issues challenge to education theory and education practice of our country.School-based curriculum is a new curriculum form, its enforcement pattern is different from state curriculum, its teaching thought is different from state curriculum, it emphasizes students 'basic unit ,it has the students' study way in mind ,so it necessarily cause the change of teaching thought. Teaching thought changes with the change of society. To be a competent teacher, one should keep synchronization with society development, absorb new teaching thought constantly, and adopt modern teaching model. In the school-based curriculum "chemistry and life", we choose the teaching way, such as experiment exploration, investigation visit, looking up information and exchange discussion, and that in the teaching topic 1 Chemistry and Environment, We also choose practice education pattern, designed four kinds of forms: environment research, scientific experiment of environment knowledge, research study of environment knowledge and activities of environmental protection At the same time in the course of teaching we respected the students' interest and experience. Let the students choose subjects according to their own need, in this way we leave a room for the students' specific character development. Chemistry and life mainly comes from real life, leans close to life, much knowledge is strange to teachers, in order to deal with the constantly broaden study content, teachers must rebuild knowledge idea, meanwhile think again to their own teaching, such classroom is not only a place of curriculum's carrying out, but also a laboratory of education teaching experiment, So participating in school-based curriculum's development can make a teacher have a open thinking system, it can change teachers' unfit ideas, it can make teachers have stronger criticized self-examination ability, they can find other people's faith and thinking way. Curriculum estimation is an important link of curriculum formation. In the school-based curriculum chemistry and life, we encourage diversifying estimation objectives and diversify of estimation way, we stick to finality estimation and process estimation's combination. We stick to combination between qualitative estimation and quantify estimation. We stick to combination between students' self-estimation and other people's estimation. We try to make estimation transverse the whole process of the study of school-based curriculum. The author myself took part in the development of the school-based curriculum chemistry and life, inquire into the content choosing of school-based curriculum and teaching method, provide some references and experience for school-based curriculum Development.
