| The purpose of this study is to explore effective ways in improving college students' interpersonal communication by group counselling, to form available group counsel program and prove its effect. In detail, we choose 40 students who have difficulty in counsel communication and divide them into two groups, one as the experimented group, the other the comparative one. We hold group counsel for 14 times to the experimental group, while do nothing to the comparative one. Then at the end of experiment, we hold different evaluation on the counsel.According to the final data, we can see that the marks of students in the experimental group on dominance, capacity for status, sociality, social presence, and self-acceptance are obviously different from those students in the comparative group. And at the end of the experiment, the marks they get are greatly different from those they get before our counsel. That is, the social adoption ability of students in the experimental group is clearly improved, which is now higher than that of all the other students in the comparative group and that of their original level. Our main conclusion are as follows:(1) the major problems in college students' social adoption is lack of communication methods, timidity, sense of inferiority and eccentric characteristics.(2) group counselling can serve as an effective way to help improving their social adoption abilities.(3) the group counsel program which the writer of this paper designed has its own features, such as adding active participants and various activities (excursion, dance, gathering. etc.),which have positive influence in the consultant. |
