Normal university is the cradle of the teachers for the middle schools. Teaching is a profession. So the teachers' professional behaviors have many traits and need some techniques which require special trainings. However teaching is a whole and complicated process, which made teaching ability can hardly be brought up. So it is important for us to research the theoretical background of micro teaching, and with the guidance of the present-day instruction idea, and integrate the teaching of "The Theory of Chemistry Instruction", in order to cultivate the teaching ability of the students from normal university, and exploit the value of the micro teaching, and construct the modern system of the micro teaching which can be operated. Our researchers have to think seriously and puss the buck to nobody.The research focuses on five aspects: the achievements made in micro teaching, the properties and the research objects of micro teaching, micro teaching theoretical model and training process, the chemical teaching strategies training in micro teaching, and empirical studies.Micro teaching is a mode of cultivating the students from normal university, which was initiated by Dwight Allen who was a profession in the Stanford University in the United States. We summarize the conclusions of some research and find that the most of researchers thought that micro teaching was used to training the students to master teaching skills. However teaching is not to pile some teaching skills automatically. It is difficult for us to cultivate the teaching ability merely training the teaching skills. We think that micro teaching is a theory and means in the instruction theories, which use scientific methodology and modern technologies to research chemistry teaching. It generalizes teaching behaviors in the practical in the instruction strategies level and forms a set of instruction strategies and training procedure which can be manipulated and is in the control.Micro teaching theoretical model comprises theoretical study and practice, and demonstration and evaluation are the cores. Teaching knowledge, the video cases and equipments are the important supports to the micro teaching system. We think that ideal micro teaching progress can be divided into five phases: studying the instruction theory, demonstrating the excellent teaching kinescopes, designing and preparing the teaching process,practicing and kinescoping , and reflecting and evaluating.Our research constructs four instructional strategies on the ground of constructivism and newly curriculum innovation idea. They are setting problematical circumstances, organizing the students to inquire, using multimedias reasonable and leading the students to reflect and evaluate. We expatiate the four instructional strategies in detail from such aspects as meaning, operating points and the points which should be paid attention to in order to make the base of practice.In the practical research, we draw-out 12 students form Grade 2001 as our research object. And we train them to use the four instructional strategies when they teach "molecules", "atoms", "chlorine" and "ethanol". The research applies the study methods of comparison method, analyzing the activities of the students and individual interview to evaluate the practice effect. Before the training we ask the students from normal university to prepare the lessons alone, for we want to find out the beginning states. The result is that the training achieved favorable effects and helped the students understand the instructional strategies. In addition, from the practice, the students have updated their instructional idea, and the teaching preparation ability has achieved satisfactory progress. After the training process, we adjusted the elementary micro teaching model, and constructed the more practical and effective implementary steps.In the end, we preview prospect for future research along with analyzing the problems existing in the thesis, which points out the progressive direction for us.The research possesses very positive a...
