Integral Research On The Humanity Spirit Of China With The Olympism

It was in 2008 that the Olympic Games first came to China. Holding the Olympics inBeijing, China is a gold-given opportunity for the flourishing of China as well as thedevelopment of the Olympics. In order to have the 2008 Olympics the most splendid one,the Chinese Olympic Committee has put forwarder concept " Humanized Olympics", whichis both the spirit and the characteristics of the 2008 Olympic Games. Centering the spirit of Humanized Olympics, the circle of sports have carriedwidespread discussions and embedded researches, generally coming to an agreement --- theHumanized Olympics referring to the eastern and western culture, especially thecombination , interlocution and communication of the Western Olympic Culture and theEastern Chinese Civilization. Based on the Chinese humanistic spirit rooting in the traditional Chinese culture, thethesis creatively blends the Chinese humanistic spirit and the Olympians and also showsthat we should actively renew and develop the Olympism as the Olympism benefits China.Only in this way can the 2008 Olympics displays its unique historical value, realizing itsdream of making the most successful games and leaving the most precious heritage for theOlympics, for China, and for the whole world. Based on some researches and someliteratures, this thesis defines the connotation of the Chinese humanistic spirit and theOlympism, and systematically and creatively studies the necessity and importance, theinteraction and the value of and their integral, supplying theoretic support for the furtherresearch of the Humanized Olympics.
