The Analysis Of The Perfection And Development Of College Graduates' Employment Market

Based on the construction and perfection of the socialist market economy, the national employment system on college graduates has reached a basic common understanding after the reform and exploration for more than 10 years. That is, the nation is no longer in charge of the general employment division of college graduate. Most college graduates will have a mutual-choice with the target work unit. Meanwhile, the employment market, after the development for several years, is experiencing a process from non-modelized t\o modelized and undeveloped to developed. All sorts of employment markets including tangible, invisible and multi-level, have begun to set up.The social function of universities is to train talents and after services to society. The full employment of college graduates reflects this social function concretely. Thus, the employment of college graduates not only relates to personal future and the realization of personal value, but also relates to the social economic development and social stability. The whole society has paid close attention to this issue. In the new situation, how to solve the employment problem of college graduates is a major concern arousing consideration of not only college graduates, their universities, but also the government department which is in charge of this issue. The unfitness among the existing employment mode in universities, college graduates' understanding in choosing a jobs, the personnel system and the employment system of college graduates raises a new problem to the work relating to college graduates. Nowadays, embryo of employment market for college graduates has already been set up. However, the operating mechanism fitting this embryo has not been totally set up yet, which affects the development of the employment market and the full employment of college graduates. And to some extent, it will also affect the development of university education. In order to solve the above mentioned problems, I combine the research methods of investigation, analysis and comparison, and relate to my own work experience in writing this thesis paper. I have visited the related government department, other universities, work units and college graduates, and had a general understanding about the employment situation concerning college graduates. I have also carried on document research and compared many research achievements concerning college graduates' employment. This thesis paper aims to raise practical methods in solving the problems in the construction of employment market on the basis of the employment situation of college graduates in China. It also includes the analysis of the construction and perfection of the framework of the employment mode of college graduates, the operating mechanism of employment market, and the specialized development of employment market for college graduates. Based on the above mentioned researching clue, this thesis paper is structured in four parts.Part one: The notion of employment market of college graduates and its main character is identified based on the principle that the reform of the employment system of college graduates results in the marketization of the employment of college graduates, followed by the analysis of the problems existing in the construction of the employment market.Part two: The roles played by the dominant participants in employment market, the government department, the work unit, and the college graduates, are explicitly explained.Part three: The specific methods to the construction of employment market focusing on universities are analyzed in an objective and generative way in order to construct the proper operating mechanism of the employment market, taking the market economy as general environment.Part four: The affecting factors, probability and the actual significance of the specialized development of the employment market are discussed, so as to improve the scientific and durable development of the employment market for college graduates.
