The national rural modern distance education project is an important action of realizing the great-leap-forward development of rural education. Our country has offered three kinds of mode with corresponding equipments for this (CD broadcasting mode, satellite receiving station mode and computer classroom mode). Utilize the good resources provided by these equipments to launch the teacher-training activity in order to improve teaching quality and realize the great-leap-forward development of rural education which is a focal point of the whole work. Therefore I think the study on the teacher-training under this background is of great value and guiding significance.Tai-bai County is one of the national-level pilot counties, so we make a thorough survey and study of basic education in Tai-bai County with the methods of interview, informal discussion, questionnaire investigation, class observation. We investigate different subjects which include the representatives of executive branches of the county, county bureau of culture and education, in service teacher-training school of the county, teachers and students in middle and primary schools of the whole county for understanding its educational state from various perspectives. After sorting and analyzing the information we have gotten, we conclude several main problems which have been existing in the basic education of Tai-bai County as follows:Firstly, insufficient educational fund input. On the one hand, the total capital input is really scarce. On the other hand it shows improper educational fund input. This problem has caused other problems such as the loss of teaching body, the high drop - out rate, scarce educational resources and insufficient development of human resources.Secondly, low teacher's quality and teaching level. Teacher's age structure is unreasonable; Teachers are distributed unbalancedly; Specific discipline teacher resources are scarce seriously; Teacher's academic qualification is relatively low; the mode of teaching is single; Available modern education equipment and good educational resources are comparatively less; the teacher can't reach the due level to operate distance education equipment.Thirdly, bad results in original teacher's training. The function relevant organizations separates; training resource is not enough; trainer's quality is not high; Training funds is insufficient; the method of training is single ; the training content is repeated, pertinence of training is not strong; teacher has insufficient understanding of the importance of training and the contradictions is between teaching work and training participation and so on.On the basis of pondering deeply and studying materials mentioned above, I have put forward some ideas to improve the teacher's training work of this county.First, combining the pilot work of the national rural distance education project with the teacher training activities, to grasp the manipulation of three kinds of mode, the teacher needs to go through three stages: know to use; know how to use; know how to use effectively.Then, insisting on the guidelines of " based on teacher ", the teacher training should be arranged according to the characteristics of adult's learning; Before the teacher trained, administrative leaders and headmasters should be educated earlier; Set up sound training mechanism to guarantee the training going orderly and efficiently; Strengthen the construction of teacher training at county level to guarantee training working smoothly.And then, training the teacher's ability to operate three kinds of mode firstly, According to actual conditions of some teaching spot, primary school and middle school , adopt combining key person training and the whole training together , concentrating training and school-based training together to improve the teacher's educational technology ability and the ability of using educational technology to advance teaching skill in an all-round way; Secondly according to the current situation of the development of this county, launch the work of school-based training in the whole county to improve the teacher's ability to grasp three kinds of mode and set up the base for school-based training. The method of case teaching study and educational narration study used in school-based training will cultivate the teacher's research consciousness and promote the teacher's professional development.Summarizing the research result above, I have some suggestions as follows: Strengthen the teacher training work gearing with the national rural modern distance education project; pay more attention to teacher's role as learner in the training, and his studying individual character and individual difference to enrich his own...
