Research On The Whole-process Employment Model

With the leaping development of the Higher Education in China, especially the further reform of college graduates' employment mechanism, free choice has become the main stream in their job-hunting. Therefore, college graduates' employment has entered into a new era. The standard and quality in the process of offering guidance for graduates is directly associated with their successful employment. At present, most universities orient their job-hunting guidance for graduation class like "a prompt sale" or "preparation only before the last moment". The contents are restricted within the employment analysis, employment information gathering, passing job-hunting techniques, offering guidance in self-recommendation letter composition, and techniques in job-interviews. Though it is necessary in doing so, it still doesn't offer essential help for graduates in the severe competitive job-market. It is far from enough especially to such a special group of students. When facing the severe competition in job-hunting, the rigor demands from the employers and other competitors, a large number of graduates feel anxious or even hopeless. In order to help students to take the first step well and choose their first ideal job composedly at ease, job-hunting guidance must be prearranged, so as to enable graduates to take precautions in ideology, knowledge and mind. Job-hunting guidance must also cover their whole process.This paper is composed of five chapters. Chapter One, Introduction, mainly introduces the background, purpose, significance, methods and the main contents. Chapter Two, Relevant Factors Affecting Graduates Employment and Status of Job-hunting Guidance for College Graduates, starting by discussing factors affecting graduates employment, the task and the status of job-hunting guidance, indicates that the present job-hunting guidance like "a prompt sale" or "preparation only before the last moment" doesn't meet the demand and must be adjusted and reformed. Chapter Three, Theoretical and Practical Backgrounds for the New Whole-Process Employment Model, This project, guided by the Marxist human's all-round development theory, aimed at improving students' integrated quality, referenced from western job-hunting theories and integrated with the reform of higher education and features of modern professional development, analysizes the necessity of constructing the whole-process employment model from theoretical and practical perspectives. Chapter Four, Construction of Whole-Process Employment Model, on basis of analyzing the fundamental principles, target system, componential factors, stage division, expounds how to construct the "three-three-four" model.
