Human being comes into the 21th Century. The course of global economy is growing faster. All kinds of thought culture in the world are in storm. The trend of political diversity has been developing. Under the international situation, how to keep and develop the traditional culture of China and encourage students' patriotic sentiment is becoming a matter that history education can not avoid. Meanwhile, with the development of literae humaniores, new task of basic education in history is brought forward. That is to accelerate the students' all-round development. However, from the present situation as a whole, the outcome of quality education is not in evidence. It is more serious that we pay more attention to intelligence than development in all directions. History, which is one of the basic subjects in middle school, undertakes the important task of educating the students. Accelerating the students in all directions is an important research matter in present history teaching reform. Because non-intelligent factor takes a most important place in students' individual growing and development in society for the future, I'd like to give my statement on "what is the non-intelligent factor", "the embodiment of the non-intelligent factor in history subject criterion " , "how to accelerate the development of the non-intelligent factor in history teaching" and so on. During the course of the research, I use literature method and comparison method, analyzing the research status about it in China and other countries in the world. According to my teaching practice, I try to open a new phase in research of the non-intelligent factor for the middle school history teaching. As my ability is limited, there must be something that is not good enough. I hope it can cause the people's attention that work in the same field and discuss middle school history teaching together.
