Unemployment and reemployment are important economic, political and social problems in transformation period of Chinese society. The problem of employment deals with government's institution arrangements shown at macro-level and unemployed individual's reemployment shown at micro-level, therefore, institution (structure) and action become a circulating action system. The focuses of this research are the reemployment of the unemployment and its affected factors. Through the investigation of total 973 jobless people in three areas in Wuhan, Jingzhou and Honghu of Hubei province, the research describes a basic situation of reemployment of the unemployed, and analyzes the major factors affecting the reemployment of the unemployed with advanced statistic methods. Besides the research still use comprehensive theories to explain the result such as rational choice theory in sociology and correlated human and social capital theory. The thesis develops from describing status in quo, analyzing affected factors to explain the result. In the part of describing status in quo, the data, from the living and work condition investigation of unemployed man in three cities (Wuhan, Jingzhou and Honghu) of Hubei province, describes the basic situation. In the part of analyzing affected factors, the thesis analyzes the factors affecting reemployment of the unemployed from three aspects, individual unemployed social characters (age, region and education etc.), economic situation (family income per month and income with a job) and the desire to get another job (work value, expectation of job etc.). Finally, the thesis will use sociological theories to explain the result. Through analysis and discussion above, the researcher finds that the unemployed have a positive attitude toward reemployment but the most have to take up unstable and informal jobs with low social position or self-employed. Compared with former researches, the factor of social character has a stronger effect on unemployed individual's attitude to get another job, especially in area factor. The reemployment of the jobless man in different areas has strong difference in the action to get another job and its quality but the desire to get another job has less effect to their reemployed action. As a result, the research does not support the view that unemployed man's reemployment expectation will restrict its attitude toward reemployment, no matter it has strong reemployment desire or want to find a good job but lack the necessary skills. Suggestions are given in the thesis that the old view of the unemployed desire to get another job should be changed, the step of building labor market institution and the supply of reemployment service should be quickened, put the country's reemployment policies into effect and the unemployed should actively take part in the reemployment so on and so on.
