With the continuous deepening of the new curriculum reform and the matureinformation technology, multimedia computer, with its unique information processing andfunctional performance in the teaching, is playing an increasingly important role. At thesame time, the computer-aided instruction (CAI) also receives the teachers' general favourin Junior Middle School Physics. This article points out CAI is the inevitable product of theteaching activity development;the breach of the curriculum reform and displays the needof deepening the physical curriculum reform. In CAI, the computer is not only the memoryof teaching content, but also the equipment of knowledge instruction;the informationprocessing;the knowledge construct;the multiple message tools and the interactiveteaching activity with the student. CAI provides the rich teaching methods and ways whichis the support of the curriculum reform.The usage of CAI is the key of computer assisted teaching in Junior Middle SchoolPhysics, the teachers use CAI rightly, which can make the students understand importanceand difficulties more easily and have more interest in learning physics. The aim of thearticle is to study the general method of CAI design in Junior Middle School Physics. In thearticle, the writer concludes the theory and points out the meaning of relevant theory,studies the designing method of CAI and gives a practical example. The writer hopes tohelp the teachers in Junior Middle School Physics grasp the designing method of CAI andimproving their teaching ability.At present, there are few articles about the study of CAI practical effect in JuniorMiddle School Physics. Therefore, the other aim of the article is to get the quantitativeinvestigation to the practice of CAI in Junior Middle School Physics and obtain thepractical support of CAI teaching superiority. Through the study, the writer gets thefollowing conclusion:Using CAI, the teachers can stimulate the students' learning interest, widen thestudents' knowledge and promote the students' learning effect. Comparing to thetraditional teaching, CAI teaching is better and has the remarkable difference.Using CAI, the teachers can strengthen the students' attention, promote the students'positive thinking and make the students understand difficulties more easily. Comparingto the traditional teaching, CAI teaching is better, but has no remarkable difference.In the aspect of grasping the teaching importance, CAI is worse than the traditionalteaching, but has no remarkable difference.In the aspect of academic achievement, CAI is better, but has no remarkable difference,especially to the backward students.
