The colleges in Soviet Union carriy out autonomous entrance examination system thatthey assign topic , organize examination, establish the committee who are in charge ofenrolling new students by themselves. According to the thought of defending statesovereignty and united educational space, Russia first carried out National ExaminationSystem among five principle union federals in 2001,which means the beginning of entranceexamination system of colleges. National examination is a kind of graduation examination inthe stage of complete secondary education and higher schools entrance examination forstudents grade 11 to 12 in public educational institution, and organized by federal educationalboard. Federal educational board organizes related personnel to assign topic with unity, thennational examination is taken among federal entities mentioned above at the assigned timeand places;the examination by hand accounts for great proportion in national examinationwith percentage system;examination subjects include mathematics, literature, Russian,biology, geography, chemistry, social normal knowledge, the students participating in Russianhistory, geography and foreign language examination take related subject examination,according to the major they choose. This examination reform is implemented in differentareas and at different stages, remains partial right that colleges own when recruiting newstudents with autonomy, which develop great potential for the development of Russian highereducation.Frame as follows:Introduction: Contains the orientation of this problem;current level, methods and leadingway for study as well as some notions relay to it.Part one, Study on history of high college examination system in Soviet Union. Tracesback to the history of college entrance examination system by the dividing line of 1974, andreflects the effect on it that political system and social condition have.Part two, National examination system in Russia. Examines National ExaminationSystem as a whole from such four perspectives as background , establishment,implementation and evaluation.Part three, Elemental analysis about Russia take this system into action. Make furtherstudy on National Examination System by analyzing Russian economy, politics and socialideology during the transition period.Part four, Analyzes the meaning of national examination system in Russia.comprehensively expounds the meaning of value of National Examination System byexplaining such three factors as the relationship of centralization and decentralization,socialization and nationalization, socialization and value subject in examination system.Part five, Reflect and borrow. On the basis of the discussions of four parts above, fromborrowing national examination system, consider severe inclination to examination-centered,the problem of unitary structure of examination that college entrance examination exists inour country.
