Self-regulated learning is a kind of study method, which fits in with the present demand and is advocated in current curriculum reform. Thus developing the ability of students' self-regulated learning is becoming the focus in current subject teaching. This article defines the meaning of self-regulated, self-regulated learning and self-regulated learning ability. It also analyzes the current research situation of self-regulated learning and demonstrates the theoretic gist of training and the rule of getting the ability of that learning, and expatiates the necessity of self-regulated learning. In this article, the teaching strategy, method and approach in training self-regulated learning are explored in biology teaching combined with the experience for years. It effectively promotes the students' ability of self-regulated learning and improves their bio-science competence by inspiring students' learning motives, developing their metcognition, grasping learning strategies for learning bio-science, optimizing teaching design and establishing harmonious relationship between teachers and students.
