Higher vocational education has already occupied half of the country of highereducation and has developed popularization of higher education rapidly. It has alreadybegun to take shape and tends to develop steadily and progressively. Characteristicsand quality have become its primary tasks. According to the current situation ofvocational education, the Ministry of Education has put forward the generalrequirement that vocational education should transit gradually from three years to twoyears. The purpose is to advocate the standard personnel training mechanism of abilityand taking employment as direction situation,encourage the educators to exploreand innovate constantly, and reform completely the specialty offerings, coursedevelopment, teaching model ,etc. Through such research approaches as comparing ,consulting documents, investigating , and summarizing the experience, this paperdescribes the development of the teaching model, probes into the current teachingmodel problem of professional education in our country and analyses the origincauses, expounds systematically the domestic and international successfulprofessional teaching model, and presents the plan of teaching model of " ability field" to break the classroom lessons model taking classroom as main position, realize theintegration of information, knowledge, profession, ability, job and emotion throughcombining study with production and cooperation between school and enterprise,form the field of ability crossing over campus, and enable the students to obtainemployment and develop their career. This paper also expounds the new-type teachingmodel requirements for soft and hard environment as well as inside and outside terms.This text amounts to six chapters.Chapter one explains the meaning of studying the teaching model of highervocational education according to the present background.Chapter two differentiates the teaching model from close concepts, analyses thedeveloping history of the instruction model, and describes the general picture ofcontemporary discipline teaching model and its enlightenment.Chapter three analyses the current application situation of the teaching model ofthe higher vocational education and probes into its origin causes of formation.Chapter four expounds systematically the domestic and international successfulprofessional teaching model and compares the characteristics each model to obtain theinnovative thinking of the model from it.Chapter five draws lessons from the " field " concept of physics to introduce theview of" ability field ", proposes the train objective of " double ability ", and describesthe teaching model scheme of " ability field " deeply and carefully. The multi-channelmechanism is advocated to run a school through combining study with production andcooperation between school and enterprise, and a multidimensional appraisal systemin which schools, social intermediary, educational administration, skill determine notonly divide the work but also cooperate should be set up.Chapter six explains that making a change in educational idea, the model ofrunning schools, management system, operating mechanism, educational developmenttactics is the effective guarantee of the new-type teaching model.
