Establishing And Perfecting Of Science And Technology Popularization Motivation System For College Teachers

The completion between countries become more and more serious in 21st century, which is featured by knowledge economy and learning society. In a great degree, the future and fate of a county is depended by scientific strength itself own. Science and technology popularization is an effective way to improve public scientific and cultural quality. Colleges play a very important role in science and technology popularization. It is necessary to set up teachers'science and technology popularization motivation system.Based on literature review about western motivation theories, this paper carries out a systematic analysis to the college teachers'science and technology popularization motivation actions and motivation actuality in China. In the past, the mainly used motivation action is honor inspiration. At present, college teachers'science and technology popularization motivation system is far from perfection, lacing of good environment and scientific appraisal methods, unfamiliar with teachers'thoughts and motive.Adopting literature review, questionnaire and interview, this paper carries out a statistical research about the teacher's science and technology popularization participation situation in Chongqing University. Teachers'thoughts and motive are analyzed to find out the differences between various groups. The major factors influencing teachers'participation enthusiasm are also analyzed in this paper. Based on the above research results, basic motivation theories and existent research results, this paper try to give some strategy suggestion on how to set up college teachers'Science and technology Popularization motivation system.
