For a long time, the reconstruction of low-performing schools has largely been connected with manpower, money and equipment, that is, the development of these schools depends on "blood transfusion"from outside. This will result in school-runners' psychological dependency and will hamper the development of the schools.Generally speaking, "blood transfusion" just takes temporary solution, while "hemopoiesis" can affect a permanent cure. There exist weaknesses as well as capabilities in low-performing schools, and only when we transform such possibilities into actual development, can these schools achieve sustainable development.In order to convert inferior educational resources into superior ones, low-performing schools should make the most of the existing condition, lay more emphasis on the reform of educational thoughts, the redesigning and reorganizing of teaching. Based on a rational knowledge of the capabilities, the regular patterns of developing such capabilities and optimization of necessary conditions, this paper, while taking Yangsi Middle School, Dulangkou Middle School and Anqiu NO. 4 Middle School as cases, attempts to explore some effective ways to promote the development of low-performing schools.
