The cooperative learning, one of world education reform mainstream ideological trends, is now important study way which the new curriculum vigorously initiates. It is inevitably requested for the social development and an indispensable important constituent for the human survival and development because cooperative learning is also a teaching goal and one kind of lifestyles. The cooperative learning causes the students to learn cooperation in high school and learn to survive in cooperation. Our education teaching activity should diligently establish the cooperation type, study the situation and practically build the stage for the student to realize and develops the cooperation ability. On the basis of the modern teaching altitude and in view of existing malpractices in the traditional teaching, educators embarked from the teaching organization reform angle, unified the fundamental research and the practice research in recent years, introduced cooperative learning in classroom instruction and has provided a new way for the teaching organization reform.The paper centers on the cooperative learning in chemistry teaching practice in junior high school, consisting of four parts: the cooperative learning meaning, the basic characteristics, the basic essential factor, the rationale, the fundamental modes and so on. The cooperative learning basic patterns were summarized. By the investigation of learning interest, changes in the academic records were compared before and after tests and the cooperative learning implementation feasibility and the actual effect were analyzed. Through the material collection and the reorganization, the detailed implementation plan was formulated. The plan of instruction, the material preparation, the experimental arrangement and so on were described in the concrete teaching case. Each kind of cooperative learning was completely unfolded in the implementation process of chemistry teaching in junior high school. In the operating process, unceasingly reconsideration and promptly rectification had guaranteed the cooperative learning actual effect. The questions of chemistry teaching and learning in junior high school were pointed out and the reasons and countermeasures were analyzed. Finally the cooperative learning in chemistry teaching was reviewed.The practices proved that the cooperative learning between teachers and students in the demonstration tests, the cooperative learning between students in the group tests and the cooperative learning among the whole staff members is the more successful cooperative learning pattern in chemistry teaching in junior high school. The utilization these cooperative learning patterns can fully arouse the enthusiasm and the initiative which the student studies, train the participation and cooperative consciousness of students, deepen understanding between teacher and student and exchange their ideas between students. Academic records were greatly promoted. The comprehensive quality was strengthened. The education teaching quality was improved.
