Research On Specialized Course Arrangement Of Undergraduate Of Preschool Education Program In East China Normal University

With the development of the society and preschool education, the main cultivated objective of undergraduate preschool education program is training the pre-service teachers for nurseries and kindergartens in normal university. Under the circumstances, the research analyses the advantages and disadvantages of specialized course arrangement of undergraduate preschool education program from two perspectives of society needs in Shanghai and in-service teachers' adapting working environment.Qualitative and quantitative research methods are adopted while combining questionnaire method, interview study and literature analysis. 51 seniors coming from the department of preschool education in East China Normal University and 31 kindergarten teachers who graduated from preschool education department in East China Normal University took part in the questionnaire. 17 persons were interviewed, including the seniors, the kindergarten teachers, teacher and professor in the department of preschool education. The research findings show that although the practice courses and professional courses have been paid attention, there are some deficiencies about the specialized course arrangement in East China Normal University, such as the insufficiency of practice and professional courses, the out-dated specialized knowledge, the separation between kindergarten practicality and specialized knowledge, the maladapation of the reform on kindergarten course, the higher repeatability of specialized course content, the lack of positive influence on developing undergraduates' professional quality and so on. According to this, this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for East China Normal University.
