With the development and the popularization of internet technology, the Internet gradually filters into people's daily life. The majority of Netizen are college students, who have been influenced most by the Internet. The undergraduate is a special group. The state of their internet use behavior and internet moral standard has aroused considerable attention. The prosocial behavior is a kind of positive social behavior, which is an important constituent part of the moral behavior. The research of on-line prosocial behavior in the academy is still at the primary stage. The positive research of the on-line prosocial behavior for the undergraduate is more rare.This research adopts the methods of case study and literature study. The article explores the influence factors on the on-line prosocial behavior of the undergraduate and summarizes the forms and the characteristics of their online prosocial behavior. The author hopes this research can not only provide experiential material for the internet moral education of college students, but also provide practical instruction for the college and the society, which will help them lead undergraduate to use internet correctly and form friendly interpersonal relation in the on-line society. Accordingly, they will lead the entire internet environment to advance in the healthy, civilized and harmonious direction.For the whole frame, this article is composed of six parts.The first chapter is introduction. It brings forward the research issues: the basic condition of on-line prosocial behavior for the undergraduate; the factors which influence on-line prosocial behavior of the undergraduate; the forms and the characteristics of their on-line prosocial behavior. This chapter aslo defines some related terms.The second chapter is the review of the related research. It reviews the related research outcome of prosocial behavior from the viewpoint of social psychology. Then it introduces the research condition of on-line prosocial behavior. The research train of thought is put forward on the basis of the review: on-line prosocial behavior means the behavior consistent with social expectation which happens in the internet environment and benefits others, groups and society. It is the same as the prosocial behavior in real life in essence. However, because of the differences between the concrete circumstances, there are some differences between the on-line prosocial behavior and the prosocial behavior in real life.The third chapter is about research design. This research chooses the undergraduate as the research object. It adopts the methods of case study and literature study. This chapter also explains the objective and the significance of mis research.The fourth chapter analyzes the influence factors on the on-line prosocial behavior of the undergraduate. There are two parts: The first part analyzes the interpersonal relation in the on-line society; the second part discusses the influence factors on the on-line prosocial behavior of the undergraduate by using interview material.The fifth chapter mainly reviews the forms and the characteristics of the on-line prosocial behavior for the undergraduate. This chapter explores six forms and characteristics of the on-line prosocial behavior for the undergraduate on the basis of an example on the BBS of Campus Website.The sixth chapter is conclusion and suggestions. By analyzing the on-line prosocial behavior for the undergraduate, the author discovers that the frequence of the on-line prosocial behavior for the undergraduate is higher than that of the prosocial behavior for the undergraduate which happens in the real life. Some characteristics of the internet environment are beneficial to the on-line prosocial behavior. And there is a mechanism of moral education which is latent in the kind of behavior. We shoud make the best of the interactive effect between the on-line prosocial behavior and the ideological and political education.
