An Analysis Of The Strengthening Of Speaking In Senior High School's English Teaching

As a result, "dumb English" now has become a big problem to solve. The writer proposes that speaking in senior high school should be laid special emphasis on and it needs improving. English teachers should design their speaking lessons carefully, arrange related teaching tasks and try to realize them with effective teaching methods. The writer suggests that in order to improve the teaching effect of speaking, teachers should pay attention to the following tips: First, try to stimulate the students' motivation and interest in speaking; Second, make an easy atmosphere in class to build their confidence; Third, carry out various activities to get the students active in class.In order to ensure the effect of speaking teaching, the high school English teachers had better change their teaching modes from traditional face-to-face teaching in class to interactivc teaching both inside and outside classroom.
