Study Of Servant Leadership Education In American Higher Education

Servant leadership education is an important component of leadership education in American universities and colleges. This article explores the background, history, current status and characteristics that servant leadership education has, and analyzes the reasons of having such characteristics. The purpose is to understand leadership education and talented and gifted education in American universities and colleges more detailed, the innovation trends of American higher education, and the values to our higher education.The whole paper is in five parts: part one with title introduction focuses on literature reviewing and the research paper designing; part two concentrates on the background and history of servant leadership education in American universities and colleges; part three is the current status and characteristics of servant leadership education in American universities and colleges; part four as case study introduces two example programs; the last part gives four conclusions of what we can draw from the study, and provides some suggestions as to what we can learn from the case as well.
