The course object under the concept of modern education has the characteristics of externalization, reducibility, hierarchy and so on. The concept of post-modern education based on the deep understanding of rules of education, to a certain extend, reflects the nature and contemporary features of education and contains the thought of development of education, so it presents the characteristics of openness, generative property, rheological property, etc. The post-modern educational concept forces people to review and recognize the educational phenomenon again with new sight. The post-modern educational concept also comprehensively criticizes the traditional, enclosed, stiff educational concept, as a result, it brings new theory guide for the value orientation of the object of PE of basic education under the new era.In the discussion on curriculum, the theory of course object usually is a very important and relative independent part. It points the basic direction for the organization and choice of course content and guides the whole implementary process of course, but also provides the basic reference for the course evaluation.This study tries to discuss the value orientation of object of PE in the basic education after understanding the concept of the post-modern education. The concept of the post-modern education is born in such era background of"Globalization"and philosophic features of post-modernism. The concept of the post-modern education includes the opinions on object, course, teacher & student of post modern education. Under such concept, the development of object of PE is also impacted correspondingly. Therefore, the value orientation of object of PE is helpful to the development of student's personality and creative thinking and to hold the direction of development better during the reform of object of PE.
