The aims of education are to enable students to develop their potential to the full according to their characteristics in the moral, intellectual, physical, social and aesthetic domains so that each individual is ready for continuous self-learning, thinking, exploring, innovating and adapting to changes throughout their life. The priorities should be accorded to enabling students to enjoy learning, enhancing their effectiveness in communication and developing their cognition, feeling, attitude and occupational skills. Moreover, education should help students to have all-around and well-balance learning experience in the academic, vocational, organization, social service domains to prepare them for future employment, study and lives as well as developing global outlook. With carrying out new curriculum, students gradually feel English evil spirit. New curriculum develops students thinking ability, will power, moral and personality.At the beginning senior high school stage students have special psychological characteristics in the youth period. They should learn how to adjust their mental state and learning methods. It is different between teacher's manners , teaching methods and training aims. A new learning system should actively be built between learning inside and outside the classroom. So in this special period, teachers may encourage students and create conditions for them to practice their autonomous skills. Senior high school students who have reached a point where they are able to define their own goals and create their own learning opportunities, try to gain language knowledge and solve problems with the knowledge. In short, autonomous learning is a process of self-instruction, self-motivation, self-monitoring.At this learning stage more vocabularies come into students'mind. Grammar should be made a systematic study. Reading is more difficult . The speed of listening and speaking will be increased. Today we initiate quality school education. Development of abilities is more important than acquisition of knowledge. A good English learning strategy plays a active role in developing talent ability. We should cultivate the skills for making independent moral judgments and self-learning aptitude. Students can master the method how to gain the knowledge. At any rate, we can help students go through this period smoothly and lays good foundation during the senior high school stage. At the same time autonomous learning still transfer other subjects and get in touch with them. As a result, it is certainly true that students are provided with life-long learning ability.Data collected through questionnaires, class observation and interviews show that students can become more autonomous in English learning only if the teacher may guide them and create conditions for them to train their autonomous skills. The aim of this paper makes us attach important to the join education between junior middle school and senior high school. Through fostering the students'autonomous learning ability, we can provide the power of the continual development for our students.
