The key of the new curriculum reform is to change the traditional Education- values . This paper introduces Education- values which based on the lifelong learning and development of students .Having researched the cognition trait and learning mentalmechanism of students ,we open up school–based curricula to promote teaching effect ,to develop the students'ability .In virtue of domestic and foreign research findings,this paper try to study 455 students learning– acceleration features and level by testing and interviewing at guangxi beiliu-middle school,then to design Inquiry- teaching project .A test paper about velocity and acceleration has been designed on FCI and FMCE .These are finds: 1.part of students can not understand acceleration because of the relativity of velocity and acceleration .2.gender difference in understanding acceleration must result from the difference of logics intelligence .3.students in grade three are better than grade one and two in acceleration-underatanding .It is due to the thinking develop according to age.To do more study , findings from a questionnaire (based on Trowbridge and L.C.MoDermott'study)are:1.being used to judge kinematics problems from location ,the more low age students think that the location is higher ,the velocity is more.2.many students, confused acceleration with velocity by using a= (Vt2-V02)/2s or a= (Vt2-V02)/2s to judge acceleration ,think that the velocity is bigger ,the acceleration is more, knowing nothing about the chang rate of velocity in actual situation.3.students do not know the key factors of velocity ,can not use a= mF to judge the size and direction of acceleration .4.it is difficult to do with control variate under the practical context.All above research,three levels about acceleration-understanding are marked:1.location-velocity level.Having not understanding velocity well ,students at this level are difficult to understand acceleration.2.velocity-change--velocity-change-rate level .They have confusion between acceleration and velocity,thinking that the acceleration be zero too if velocity zero. Many senior high school students are at this level.3.acceleration-force level .Students at this level can analyse acceleration's size and direction directly by using Newton`s Second Law .At last, students must understand the preconcept-velocity and teachers must inprove students`cognition level before acceleration-teaching .Inquiry teaching is very important to make students know the determinant factors of acceleration.
