Contemporary education is encouraged to learn to study and life-long education ,paying close attention to autonomy and initiative of individual's learning.But reading is one kind of basic skills, and it is the basis for people to keep on learning, the reading ability influence student's synthetical quality.Metocognition is an important cognitive working process in reading activities, and metacognition is conducive to students to improve their reading ability and learn to read,so training students'reading metacognition is very urgent but necessary.There are some relevant researches at home and abroad,but they have not reached Consistent result;And there are barriers between the reading metacognitive theory achievement and the actual reading teaching,so the research on trainning reading metacognition not only can enrich the pertinent theories,but also have great signifiance for today's chinese reading teaching.This study combined with the chinese teaching of grade two in junior middle school to cultivate students'reading metacogniton.We adopt the experimental design by the survey under two groups, namely experimental team and control team. The sample are eighty three students who are in grade two in junior middle school from two classes.Our experimental research develop by the reading metacognition training permeate the chinese discipline teaching,and the marerial is language teaching material(language edition).The entire experiment use the questionnaire and experiment material, that worked out by researcher, to test.. The researcher designs the teaching plan,and the same teacher give lessons.the researcher communicates with the teacher, then develop the teaching experiment. In the last we analyzed the experiment in terms of the level of students'reading metacognition and the scores of reading understanding.The main study results are the following.1.The training of reading metacognition is helpful to improve the level of students'reading metacognition.So the training of students'chinese reading metacognition is valid in grade two in junior middle school.2.They have the insepararable intrinsic relation between the reading metacognition and the reading understanding.The training of reading metacognition is able to improve students'reading understanding achivement.When the level of students'reading metacognition raised ,the reading understanding achivement also got rise.3.The excellent students in reading understanding have not clear progess,but the low-level students have great progess, especially the medium students have the most obvious progresses.The results of the experiment indicate the training of reading metacognition combining with Chinese discipline teaching is practicable. The students not only have gained Chinese discipline knowledge,but also master the skill of reading metacognition.Including of the experimental results ,we put forward School-based training for teachers.Teacher gained the reading metacognitive knowledge,then they can cultivate students'reading metacognition in classroom teaching.
