On K-12 Principal's Curriculum Leadership

Followed by the in-depth Curriculum Reformation and curriculum problem's research, all kinds of deep problems appear which hide behind the curriculum. The research of Curriculum Leadership also appears from the research of Curriculum Management. Any formal Curriculum Reformation has been conducted by leadership. Curriculum activity contains Curriculum Leadership. In order to make Curriculum Reformation achieve success, Curriculum Leadership must be studied and improved. The Curriculum Leadership puts forward a higher request to the principal. In the course of the reformation, in addition to developing an original management talent, the principal must pay attention to the concern of the curriculum and the reformation in education, and proves himself the professional level in that realm, then starts to undertake the job of Curriculum Leadership. Therefore the research to principal's Curriculum Leadership is important in pushing forward to Curriculum Reformation and Curriculum Development on the wheel. This paper induces analysis method, deducing analysis method, citing proof a method, relatively analyzing method's etc, asking for the help of the science of management and organization behavior ere to rich the research. It tries to analyze the circumstance of this research, studies the basic theory of Curriculum Leadership and the ideas of what should bear as a curriculum leader, talks about the relationship between principal's Curriculum Leadership and Curriculum Development, probes into the tactics of principal's Curriculum Leadership. The author hopes that this paper can bring great theory value to the practice of principal's Curriculum Leadership.
