A Comprehensive Evaluation Of The Chinese Men's Basketball In The 15～(th) World Men's Basketball Tournament

Through different methods, the paper aims to explore into the differences between the Chinese team and the world strong teams, to find the location and position of the Chinese team and to find the disadvantages of the Chinese players. Through the analysis of the causes, the paper attempts to find the solution and propose related suggestions and measures. Through literature, the present author understands the present status of the teams concerned to lay a good foundation for understanding and researching. Through the interview of experts, the present author determines methodology, parameter and degree of measurement. Through the observation of video, the present author acquires original data and proper analysis. Through team analysis, the paper find the difference between the Chinese and the world teams and judge the degree of"similarity and difference"according to the data of the same item. Then, the paper makes judgment and analysis of the position of"similarity and difference"according to the performance in the World Tournament. Taking the difference as a system consisting of minute layers of differences, the paper makes a systemic and layer analysis. And with the method of deduction and induction, the paper proposes possible suggestions for the Chinese to surpass the world teams.According to the data of the Chinese Team and the world strong teams in the 15th World Tournament and on the basis of a comparative study, the paper adopts the 5-level evaluation method of statistics to found a standard model and find that the Chinese team is on the level of E in terms of swift attack scoring, mistakes, interrupt and assistant, and is on the level of D in terms of scoring ability, and is on the level of C in terms of board control, restricted area scoring, the rate of shooting and foul, and is on the level of A in terms of the rate of foul shooting and covering. With RSR arithmetic theory, the paper acquires the mean RSR data of the teams concerned. According to the comprehensive RSR evaluation standard adopted widely by the basketball world, the paper gets the positions of the teams to evaluate the tournament ability of the players. The comprehensive tournament ability of the American Team belongs to the level of A, Slovenia to the level of B, and China to the level of C: a certain difference exists between the Chinese and the world capable teams. With the analysis, the paper finds that there exist 3 significant differences between the Chinese team and the world teams, 2 bigger differences in two items, two lesser differences in two items and 4 minute differences. The Chinese team meets with the world level in terms of 3 items. It further reveals that the Chinese Team and the world teams are located on mean level 4 and overall level 9: 8 level differences to the overall level. The paper investigates into the cause of the differences and propose related suggestions: if any three items of the Chinese Team comes to the world level, this will signify that the Chinese Team has joined the club of the world strong teams. This is useful for the Chinese Team to make scientific training and contest strategy and for theoretical exploration and practice. It is suggested that the Chinese Team should make a complete and systematic self-assessment and make advantage of the style of"swift, nimble and accurate". It also should adjust and alter the CBA system and adhere to the world, strengthen the construction of the referee group, and improve the players'ability of confrontation. The Chinese should also pay attention to the civil contests and strengthen communication to improve its ability. And it should also make fine advantage of Yao Ming to discover and cultivate a new generation of star-level players. Then, the Chinese team should pay attention to the basic training, strengthen the training and cultivation of the younger players and solve the problem of attack with confronted with closer protect. Finally, the Chinese team should make reasonable arrangements of Warm-up contests and adopts scientific training measures and reasonable strategy according the differences in different levels, strengthen technical training and comprehensive quality to obtain satisfactory achievements in the 28th Olympic Games.
