Under a view of a test psychological quality of the Junior Middle School students, this article has discusses their test anxiety, the overall and the present situation of their self-concept, as well as the correlation between the two, and put forward some proposals according to the research. After the summary of the domestic and foreign correlation researches, we had an investigation on 413 Junior Middle School students with the test anxiety self-estimate scale and the self-description questionnaire (SDQ II), through the data analysis, we got the following conclusions:1. There is no significant difference between genders and grades of the Junior Middle School students'overall self-concept. However, the factors of self-concept: math, appearance, honest, language, the relation of the same sex,and the relation of the different sex have significant differences on sex dimensions. Appearance, language and self-concept have differences in grades. On the dimension of schools, the overall self-concept, academic self-concept and the school self-concept have varying degrees of difference.2. The students'evaluation and cognition to the examination is the key reason which causes the test anxiety. The overall test anxiety has no significant difference between genders, schools and grades, but there are grade differences on grade dimension between worrying about the evaluation from the other people; worrying about self-image; worrying about the future and physical reactions. There are gender differences on the dimensions of worrying about the inadequate preparations.3. The relation between self-concept and test anxiety of Junior Middle School students is: Apart from physical self-concept and the overall test anxiety (all the dimensions of test anxiety) have no relation to each other, there is negative relevant on different levels between all the factors of self-concept (overall self-concept) and the overall test anxiety as well as all the different Dimensions of test anxiety. The emotional and academic self-concept in the self-concept is efficiency in predicting the test anxiety.
