As the socialist market economy develops and improves, well-to-do life has realized, and China is trying to build a harmonious society, so receiving higher education has become another demand of people's life and subsistence. The expansion of enrolment of new students as well as the creation of independent colleges constitute the basis of the popularization of higher education. Under the guidance of the government's policies, independent colleges are bound to be a new spotlight of the development of higher education in the near future. However, new opportunities come with new challenges. Since the birth of independent colleges, they have been facing fierce competition, the key to their subsistence and development lies in the improvement of the quality of the talents they cultivate. In order to guarantee the quality of the talents, independent colleges must attach great importance to the ideological and political education of the students.
