Research On Social Work Services On Withdrawal Of Youth Internet Addiction

The issue of young people addict to internet has once caught media attraction. People from Academia also have great passion on this issue. Experts from medicine and psychology field tried to intervene and develop to study the problem referring to other addiction therapy methods. However, net-addiction is not merely a handicap of body and cognition, more it is closely related to young people's living environment. Theoretically, the traditional concept of"people in environment"in social work theory and practice has its own natural advantages in analyzing and intervening internet-addiction. In practice, social workers from SCYC provide social work services for the young people. Base on social workers, the author will use qualitative analysis to study how the social work services function in helping withdrawal of youth internet addiction. In addition, the author will explore how all parts of social work function and how they reach their goals, so as to summarize traits of social work methods in intervening young people who have internet-addiction.
