Nowadays the nine-year compulsory education has been implementing efficiently and also the senior high education has been enlarging constantly, the students'intelligence and other abilities are not on the same level in one class. Both teachers and students feel much difficult in teaching and learning. The teachers are trying exploring the suitable educational ways to be good teachers so as to meet the needs of current education.Affective factors can not dominate one's intelligence but they can influence language learning. It will be more efficient if the language teachers realize that the cognitive and the affective can not be separated from each other during the teaching procedure in the classroom. Therefore, there has been an overemphasis on the delivery of knowledge about the language while ignoring the development of the students'affective up to now in our country. The real reason for it is all due to final entrance examination. Teachers and students feel overburdened by examinations under pressure. The students'autonomy in learning has not been mobilized. As we know, much of human behavior is influenced by their experiences in the past, what is happening in the class is not equally productive for all the students because their minds work in different ways. The differences between individuals do not disappear when students come in the classroom. In order to help all students and encourage them to build up self-confidence, the English teachers should give much attention to the assessment of language ability and affective gains. The roles of teachers'are very important in English language teaching and learning practice. As language is full of connotations, every student has his own vivid imagination about the teachers'speech in the class, because every word high school teachers say may make some students have a recollection of the scene they have experienced before during the teaching in the classroom. The teachers who are concerned about the students'affective should care more about their words in the classroom to avoid offending or hurting the students. If the teachers can do like this, the students'self-esteem can be enhanced in English language study. In a result, English teachers pay more attention to their words in the classroom will be great helpful.
