Newly-established colleges and universities have become an important component of higher education in China. In promoting the development of China's higher education, to strengthen the construction of young teachers in those colleges and universities is of important and far-reaching practical significance.The thesis firstly gives a brief introduction of newly-established colleges and universities, which includes the connotation, the background, the status and characteristics of development, and current situation of the faculty construction as well. Then based on the empirical analysis on young faculty construction in three newly-established colleges in Jiangxi province, the thesis points out four major pairs of problems of young faculty construction, i.e. problem of young teachers' quantity and quality, problem of young teachers' academic level and ability, problem of young teachers' resources and stability and problem of young teachers' satisfaction and lack of professional ethics. After that, it analyzes and summarizes four major factors which affect the construction of young teachers in newly-established colleges and universities, which involve environmental factors, management factors, geographical factors, and young teachers themselves factors. By using the experience of the construction of teaching staff in American universities for reference, the paper lastly puts forward the trinity model of young faculty construction in newly-established colleges and universities integrating the government, the colleges and the young teachers. And the countermeasures are provided in which the government provides top-five policy support, the school innovates four management mechanism and young teachers strengthens three vocational cultivation.
