| Currently, along with the employment method of colleges and university students in our country developing from jobs given by government to the two-way selection and the independent job choosing method, university student's occupation concept, the outlook on life, the values has had the fierce change, meanwhile, their self-value realization, individual goal pursue starts to lead their profession choosing view of them. In this situation, strengthening the education on job choosing, vocational counsel and occupation concept appears to be more and more important.In this article, the author will firstly probe to theories on the concept delimitation, the structure, the characteristic and the practice effect of the occupation concept among the students in higher vocational colleges and universities. Secondly, the author will make an empirical analysis on the development and current situation of the students'Occupation concepts in higher vocational colleges and universities. On the basis of the discoursing upon achievements and deviation of the employment views education, the author will reveal the reasons which caused the deviation of the education on occupation concepts. How to rectify these deviations? The author's views are as follow: We should absorb the achievements of the occupation concept education in foreign countries. On this basis, we should change our old directive idea on occupation, and exert the function of moral education. Meanwhilc, we should encourage the higher vocational school students to take part in the social practice, and adjust and perfect the patterns on nurturing higher vocational school students. At the same time, we must take the effective actions to guide and help the students in higher vocational colleges and universities choose the occupation correctly and effectively. All of these can enable them to adapt and serve the society smoothly. It also satisfies the demand of talents through the socialism modernization.
