Since reform and opening up of China,after 20 years of effort, China's sports industry experienced a rapid growth process, has made considerable progress and great achievements. As China's industrial restructuring, sports industry as an important sector of the tertiary industry, has faced the opportunity of development. It is foreseeable the tertiary industry in the near future will become the pillar of the national economy. The college sports industry as an important part of China's sports industry can play a crucial role in the healthy development of the sports industry. College education in China has been trade as public welfare, but it does not mean college sports can not be profitable. Students sports market of college is very large now, although the management of Chinese college sports events still exist a lot of problems, such as the operation in the Federation of University Sports of China is not profitable, managers do not emancipate the mind, less capital investment, lack of professional college sports management personnel, Match market-oriented operation and promotion of business conditions not enough and so on, but the development of college education of China has made great progress to the college sports business development with a huge advantage. This paper aimed at the analysis of the current operating environment of the college sports events market, and use related theory of management and marketing in the PEST and SWOT analysis model theory to analyses the college sports events market. Compare the advanced countries, especially the United States NCAA practice, to find a suitable way of China college sports market-oriented development, and proposed relevant policy recommendations.Through analysis found that while Federation of University Sports of China in sports management, there are still many disadvantages and threats to survival, but the development environment of China's sports industry is very good. The college sports business development also has tremendous advantages and opportunities. FUSC can establish the leading position, emancipate the mind and make full use of university resources, increase government funding, establish strong linkage between universities and colleges as soon as possible, establish a valuable match brand. These measures can make college sports market management quickly diverted onto the right track.
