With economic development, business negotiations become frequently. Negotiation needs language as a tool to complete. Language serves as a bridge in the business negotiation, because business negotiation is substantially a process that both sides of negotiators express their views, exchange opinions in order to persuade their opponents with persuading words. But compared with foreign countries, the study on the language of modern business negotiation in China is a new displine. It lacks systematicness and theory. With the gudience of Cooperative Principle and Politeness Principle, the two important principles in pragmatics, the anthor will analyse concrete cases to see how to use language effectively in the business negotiation.The anthor first discusses the importance of language in the business negotiation, and then analyse the different types and principles of languages in business negotiations.On this basis, the anthor offers expression skill of languages in business negotiation, for example, listening skill, question and answer skill, description skill,argument skill, persuasion skill and so on. The author uses the method of case analysis to interpret the lingual tactics used in every stage of the negotiation.A systematic and comprehensive study on the language used in the business negotiation will provide a theoretical reference for those engaged in business activities and provide a guideline for a smooth business negotiation.
